Love it, or leave it.

It's really funny how sincerely upset social media makes people. I am certainly not excluding myself from this. Of course we get upset. Social media has opened the doors to aspects of peoples lives, that most of us.. would just rather not know.

I seriously did not need to know my "close" families position on current social issues, and opinions on the election. Perhaps a character flaw on my part, but I tend to grow a lot of resentment towards people with opposing opinions on these such things.

I don't like resentment. It gives me belly aches.

So, here's where the, unintentional, experiment begins:

After a conversation begins to become heated, between a family member and myself (on facebook), I decide. Fuck this. I'm deleting all the people who have something to say about my positions. And then! AND THEN! We can live happily ever after, ignorant of each others ignorance!

WRONG!

Do you have any idea what kind of shit storm that created?!

Basically, I am pushing my entire family away, because I wanted to keep politics and religion out of our relationships.

Well, fuck me.

Good night!
